Arborea Cottage, a self catering cabin situated only two hours from Cape Town is located on the edge of the Cederberg Nature Reserve in the Western Cape.
As part of an organically operated farm, it offers people the opportunity of walking, hiking and rambling in the fields, on the farm tracks - close to magnificent mountains with rugged splendour all around.
Please note that permits are required to enter the Cederberg Nature Reserve.
If walking, hiking and biking isn't your scene the area offers several 4x4 trails including some fun routes on the farm itself.
Explore the region from a base in the mountains or just relax and take in the vistas and the flora & fauna.
Historical Clanwilliam is an hours drive away as is direct access into the Cederberg via Cape Nature.

The valley has one of the most extensive stands of Waboom (Protea nitida) in the country, with the famous endangered Cape Cedar (Widdringtonia cedarbergensis) close by.
